Meet the coaches

Jeremy Gavin, Director & Head Coach - Jeremy is the Director and President of the Mission organization. He has been coaching for 10+ years from the 10u - 18u level. He is also head coach of Team Netherlands since 2020 at the Triple Crown International challenge.

Lindsay Burr, Operations & Head Coach - Lindsay is a full-time softball professional. She is the director of operations for Mission, a head coach, hitting instructor and also an assistant coach at Macalester College. She played collegiate softball at St. Kates.

Nikki Caicedo, Head Coach & Director of Recruitment - Nikki is one of the best college recruitment coaches in the midwest. She has placed 100% of players who wanted to play in college over the last two seasons and runs a program for all Mission players to be educated on the process. Nikki loves and lives softball and gives more than most coaches. She played at Macalester College where she currently coaches and played high-level fastpitch for a NJ team while living in Michigan.

Mike Perry, Head Coach & Hitting Instructor - Mike Perry has extensive experience as a head coach and helping players recruitment goals. Coach Mike is an assistant coach at UW - River Falls, previously was a National head coach for Midwest Speed. His daughter played for Auburn and he helped with the Birmingham Thunderbolts program while she as there.

Alex Reak, Head Coach - Alex has been a head coach since 2020, and with Mission since 2022. She played Division 2 college softball at Southwest Minnesota State University and is currently a high school coach for Benilde-St. Margaret.

Tien Ly, Head Coach & Hitting Director - Tien Ly has been coaching since the dawn of man! He’s a full-time softball professional who is a co-owner of Windup Fastpitch where he gives hitting, catching, and throwing lessons to 100s of clients. Tien is full of passion for the game and he ‘lives’ softball.

Brianna Enter, Coach & Pitching Instructor - Brianna Enter pitched for Florida State and the University of Minnesota prior to joining Mission in 2024. Coach Bri provides pitching instruction and is a full-time psychologist.

Jodi Gabriel, Asst Head Coach - Jodi Gabriel has been the head coach of Macalester College for over a decade. She is a wealth of knowledge and loves to share that with Mission players.

Grace Syson, Head Coach - Grace has been a Mission coach for 4 years working under Nikki Caicedo on Mission 18u teams prior to becoming a head coach. Grace played college softball for Augsburg College as a catcher where she recently graduated.

Katie Reisdorfer, Head Coach - Katie played college ball at Jamestown in North Dakota where she was a catcher. Mission players and parents comment constantly on how much Katie gives to her players. She grew up playing ball in California and brings a great perspective to our club.

Joe Jansen, Head Coach - Coach Joe has been coaching since 2018. He is a very positive coach and players are requesting to play for him often. He specializes in strategy and keeping a positive and focused vibe.

Kelly Gavin, Trainer - Coach Kelly has a passion for educating Mission players on the powers of agility and strength training. She wants every Mission athlete to feel comfortable going to the gym on their own. She runs our off-season (and soon to be year-round) strength training.
