College Recruitment Training

Mission players have committed everywhere from
NCAA Division I, II & III; NAIA, and JUCO.

We offer FREE hands-on training to players and parents on how to work through the recruiting process. Coach Nikki Caicedo leads all interested players in a 10-part online webinar (typically on Sunday or Monday nights) that includes these topics and more:

  • Workshops to answer the following questions:

    • Which division level is right for you?

    • What are your goals for playing in college?

    •  When should I start the recruiting process?

    • What are college coaches looking for?

    • How do I communicate with college coaches?

  • Templates for emailing college coaches included

  • Create a SportsRecruits profile ($150 per player for 12 months)

  • Guidance on how to use social media to attract college coaches

  • Guidance on what camps or showcase events to attend

  • Regular check-ins to review progress

  • Work hours where players work at the same time sending emails to coaches with Nikki online to help

  • Build a network of player and community support

Our 18U National and 16U National teams are best for players looking to get recruited to play college softball. We attend competitive tournaments that college coaches will be at. Past showcases Mission teams attended or were accepted to include: Colorado IDT, Triple Crown Nationals (St Louis), Scenic City Fall Showcase (TN), Top Gun Invitational, Maverick Division (KC), Team 1 Elite Invite (St Louis), LP4U Strikeout Cancer (IL), Easton Rawlings Invitational (O’Fallon, IL), LP4U Stars and Stripes (IL), Alliance Championships (IN), WI Lightning Border Battle, and more.

100% of all 18U National players who wanted to play in college were committed.

Coach Mike Perry, Nikki Caicedo and Director Jeremy Gavin have an extensive network of college coaches we have relationships with. Coach Perry’s daughter played at Auburn and is well known nation-wide by other college coaches.
