Mission Hitting Instruction

Mission’s offseason hitting program is designed to make a measurable impact on a player over a 13-week period. Regardless of where the player is starting, our goal is to make them a measurably better hitter by the end of the program.

Hitting is available in one of four 90-minute slots on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. Every hitting session is accompanied by a strength training session.

We cover the following:

  • Pre-at bat preparation

  • Stance and Setup

  • Load and Timing

  • Swing Mechanics

  • Plate Discipline and Pitch Recognition

  • Situational hitting

  • Mental approach and focus

  • Bat Speed and Physical conditioning
